The doors are open to artist studios across Santa Rosa and Fulton, giving the public a rare opportunity to see where the magic happens, meet the artists behind the work and discover unique pieces to bring home.
The FREE self-guided tour showcases the diversity of our artistic community – from painters and sculptors to ceramicists, photographers and mixed media artists. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply curious about art, Open Studios offers something for everyone.

The History
The Open Studios event is the brainchild of artist Suzanne Edminster, who envisioned a Santa Rosa-centered community arts event that quickly grew beyond expectations. Originally hoping for 40 participants, the first year’s event showcased over 70 artists!
With the support of Spring Maxfield and the Santa Rosa Urban Arts Partnership, known for hosting the popular Winterblast at South A Street, this event has become an annual event in the local arts Calendar.
This is a FREE event made possible from the generosity of the artists, community support, volunteers and donations. Engage with the art community and explore the diverse range of artistic talent!
