Eileen Parent is an abstract artist based in Sonoma County, California, originally from upstate New York, whose work is shaped by her surroundings and a curiosity about organic shapes and patterns found in both natural and urban environments. Using line and mark-making, she explores themes of time, repetition, and the documentation of physical presence across mediums including printmaking, painting, and drawing. She holds degrees from UC Berkeley, Sonoma State University, and the California College of the Arts, teaches at several colleges, and has exhibited widely, including at the de Young Museum, while also remaining active in her community through curation, volunteering, and workshops.
