For as long as I can remember, I have been creating with my hands, exploring a wide variety of mediums, including, fiber arts like sewing and knitting, glass fusing and lampworking, jewelry making, porcelain doll making, and sculpting with clay, to name a few. Rather late in life, I found my passion in oil paint, and truly feel that everything else was leading me to this art form. In oil paint, I find I can express myself like no other medium. I enjoy the feel of the buttery oil paint and the way a two-dimensional canvas can spring to life right before my eyes.
